NoVA 8U LA won the Dorchester Championship at the Mite Beach Bash Tournament in Ocean City, MD on 3 March!  The team lost their first game by a goal to Grundy, came from behind to tie Allegheny and outright beat Lehigh Valley to advance to the final round.  The awesome goal tending of William “Wild Bill” Vrabec and Ryan “Goldie” Goldfarb won the Ice Dogs the championship with a final score of 3-2 over Lehigh Valley.  The team celebrated with a trophy, medals, and the shaving of Coach Dan’s head on the beach.  Way to go, Ice Dogs!

NoVA 8U UA, finished in 1st place to go undefeated ( 5-0-1 ) in the President's Cup Tournament.  Victory was not a given, in both Semi and Final games the opponents brought their best. NoVA was down by 4 in the 3rd period of the Semi's and won in the last 2 minutes of the game, with two penalty shots and a shot in the last 30 seconds of the game.  The final game was another high adventure game that went to OT.  NoVA scored within the first 10 seconds in the sudden death play to win Championship Title

    NoVA 8U Hockey Programs

    2018-2019 Season

The NoVA Hockey Club Dogs offers opportunities for both boys and girls born in the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 calendar years.  All children born in these calendar years will play in the Club's 8U House Program.  A subset of these children born in 2010 and 2011 will play in the Club's 8U Travel Program.

Comparing our 8U House Program Fee of $650 to other Programs while considering the amount of ice touches your child will receive, the NoVA 8U House Program is for you.  The current season will run from August 18, 2018 through February 2019.

If your child has played or participated in the Club's 2017-2018 NoVA 8U Hockey Program, the 2018 NoVA Spring Program, our Learn to Play Program or an equivalent Learn to Play Program, then your child is likely ready for one or both of our NoVA 8U Hockey Programs. Please ask if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing your child on the ice
