Our path toward return to hockey continues with PVAHA’s announcement providing an updated schedule regarding the team selection process for the 2020-21 season. Please see the official statement from PVAHA on Tier II Tryouts. Here are the highlights:
July 13th - The Ice Dogs may offer roster spots to any 2019-20 club member seeking a position on a CBHL or Girls Travel Team, with or without on-ice tryouts.
July 20th - The Ice Dogs may offer roster spots to any player that played for a different club in 2019-20 and are seeking a position on a CBHL or Girls Travel Team, with or without on-ice tryouts.
August 1st - The Ice Dogs may offer roster spots to any player from any club seeking a position on a House Program and/or 8U team.
Over the coming days and weeks, we will provide information and updates that lay out how we will communicate with, register, and evaluate players interested in playing on an Ice Dog CBHL team. This planning will be done in conjunction with the rinks who support our program (and are currently conducting their own Phase 3 reopening plans).
We are working diligently to put together a registration and tryout system that is responsive, flexible, and in line with public safety guidelines. We ask that you hold questions until we release more details on our approach to the 20/21 season.
